Un progetto dedicato all’abito e al suo immaginario: un percorso tra moda, costume e fotografia che attraversa la storia della moda. Gino Gaita began his career as a photographer and reporter. Born in Naples, Italy, and always immersed in the language of images and the culture of photography, his research spans fashion observing the relationship between dress, person, space, and memory.
In his work, the white dress becomes a study of costume, its evolution, and the ability of tradition to transform over time. This project focuses on the dress and its imagery: a journey through fashion, costume, and photography that spans the history of fashion, documenting fashion houses such as Bruno Caruso Privee, Atelier Vanitas, and Bencivenga Alta Sartoria ecc.. His timeless images, where elegance and sensitivity meet, are immediately recognizable and reflect a refined editorial aesthetic, inspired by cinematic and surrealist imagery.
